Rooms

Each room or suite at Compton House Heritage Inn features a private bath with hair dryer, cable TV, telephone, wireless high-speed internet access and clock radio.  Below are room descriptions.  Please go to photo gallery for additional pictures.

Grey Suite:  This charming suite is situated in the main floor and is perfect for guests who cannot climb stairs.  Formerly the family room and solarium of the mansion, this bright Victorian suite is decorated in shades of plum and has matching custom-made rugs, silk blinds, draperies, linens and accessories.  The large bedroom has an original fireplace, oak floor and bay window overlooking the open sun-deck. The antique oak bedroom set has a queen bed.  The air-conditioned sun room looks out onto a secluded side garden and has dining area with fridge and microwave.  The large bathroom has a jetted tub.

Master Suite:  This huge Victorian Suite on the second floor is the same size as the reception room downstairs.  Is is professionally decorated in coral, navy and cream with matching custom-made window coverings, duvet and pure wool rug.  This suite exudes luxury with its English tiled fireplace, cedar closets, oak floor, Victorian moldings and wainscotting, large bay window overlooking the garden and several original works of art.  An alcove hides a small fridge and the large bathroom has a 4' x 6' oval Jacuzzi tub and separate shower. 




Green Room:  A beautiful large second floor room with Victorian mouldings, huge bay window, original fireplace, queen bed and large ensuite bath.  It is furnished in period pine with an antique round table and wicker chairs in the bay window.










Blue Room:  This pretty room overlooks the side garden and has antique oak furniture, a double bed, oak floor and original working fireplace.  It is the only guest room without an ensuite bath but has a full private bath just across the hall.
